Where Undergraduates Begin
The Academic Advisement Center at Augusta University primarily serves the following student populations:
Dual Enrollment Students
First and Second Year Students (0-59 credit hours)
Transfer Students (0-59 credit hours)
Pre-Admit Programs (i.e. Pre-Social Work, Allied Health Programs, Pre-Nursing, Pre-Education, etc.)
Senior Citizen Audit Students
Generally, students transition to their major department upon earning 60 credit hours.
If a student transfers to Augusta University with 60+ credit hours, the student will be advised by their major department.
Post-Baccalaureate and Graduate Students are also advised by their major department.
