New Student Registration

The Academic Advisement Center will be registering newly admitted students for

Summer and Fall courses beginning April 1st and Spring courses November 11th.

New Students

All new students admitted to Augusta University will receive their first semester's schedule from their Academic Advisor directly to their AU email address.
Outlined below is the process that new students must complete in order to receive their first semester schedule.

Continuing Student Registration Dual Enrollment Student Registration

New Student Registration Process:

  • Apply for undergraduate admission to Augusta University.

  • Once accepted, access your admissions portal and complete your admissions requirements specifically the New Jaguar Survey via the checklist process. Your Academic Advisor will create your schedule based on the information provided in the New Jaguar Survey and your transcripts.

      • Ensure all holds, especially the Lawful Presence Verification (LP) hold are addressed prior to registration. Students can satisfy the LP hold by submitting proof of lawful presence (for example, a driver's license) to the Admissions Office. Visit the holds information page for hold descriptions and how to resolve them.

      • Be as detailed as possible when completing your survey. If you have courses currently in-progress, your Academic Advisor needs to know the specific courses you are taking so that you receive an accurate summer and/or fall schedule.

      • Ensure that your most recent transcripts have been sent to the Augusta University Office of Admissions.

      • Once your schedule has been created, your Academic Advisor will send a welcome email to your augusta.edu email confirming that your schedule is available for review.

  • Complete the Online Welcome and sign up for New Student Orientation in your online application portal.

  • Students will continue to work with their Academic Advisor to make adjustments to their first semester schedule as necessary. Keep in mind that not all requests can be accomodated, depending on the course availability and other contributing factors.
