Living Learning Communities (LLCs) are student housing programs that create an environment where students can interact academically and socially with faculty and other LLC students. These communities provide you the opportunity to connect with diverse groups of students who share the same passion, interest, and academic focus.

At Augusta University, the Honors Program Living Learning Community members will be advised by an honors-affiliated faculty and/or staff member(s). Additionally, you will have the opportunity to attend events, programs, and informational sessions as they relate to building a shared community and creating a sense of belonging. All members of the Honors LLC are held to a high standard of commitment. You are choosing to be part of a supportive learning opportunity that has been created to guide you along the path of success during your first year at Augusta University.

Decisions for FA23 LLC Applications will be released on May 8th, 2023 (subject to change)

  • My name is Sandra Bangiyev, and I am a Senior Biology major here at AU! I’ve been involved with the honors program and HPSA ever since freshmen year and it was the best decision I could have made. I can truly say I have gained some lifelong friends through this organization and experiences that I could never replace. Some fun facts about me are that I am an environmentalist at heart, and I love outdoor activities. I am so excited to be a mentor and can’t wait to start getting to know everyone!

  • Hi everyone my name is Jubin Mathew and I am serving as HPSA Treasurer this year. I am a third year here at Augusta University pursuing a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology on a Pre-Medical track. I joined the honors program from my start of college and have been able to meet many great students and faculty through the program. Some of my interests include sports like Basketball and Soccer and gaming of many varieties. The honors program and HPSA have both helped me grow throughout college thus far and I hope I can do my best to pay that help and support forward to students who need it.

  • Hello fellow honors peeps, my name is Riya Patel. I am a sophomore majoring in psychology on the pre-med track. I plan to do anesthesiology, but I have not completely decided on a specialty yet. A couple of things about me are that I come from a small, one-stoplight town, can speak 3 languages, write Latin, and speak a bit of survival Spanish. Some of my hobbies include reading, painting, photographing, playing sports, and watching the stars. I can't wait to meet you guys and help you all where needed. I'm more than excited to learn about you guys and from you guys!
