The JagExpress is a campus shuttle service, providing a safe, alternative mode of transportation for students, faculty, and staff between parking areas and strategic locations across the campuses of Augusta University and AU Health.
The JagExpress shuttle service operates on a fixed route schedule, providing convenient and reliable transportation near most major academic and administrative buildings, commuter parking lots, and housing facilities.

All JagExpress shuttle drivers are professionally licensed employees with Horizon Motor Coach, a local business based in Harlem, Georgia. Horizon is fully licensed by the Department of Transportation and has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry.

Provides service between the Nathan Deal Campus for Innovation, Health Sciences Campus, Summerville Campus, and Forest Hills Campus when Summerville Campus classes are in session. There are nine stops: Laney Walker (Pavilion III) eastbound, Laney Walker near (Cancer Research Center) eastbound, Georgia Cyber Center, Laney Walker (Cancer Research Center) westbound, Laney Walker (Pavilion I) westbound, Allgood/Science Hall, Christenberry Fieldhouse, University Village and University Hall.
Fall & Spring Service: The Blue Route shuttles operate Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Friday 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. There are eight buses running during the fall and spring semesters, visiting each stop approximately every 8-12 minutes.
Summer Service: The Blue Route shuttles operate Monday – Thursday 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Friday 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. There are four buses running during the summer semester, visiting each stop approximately every 20 – 25 minutes.
The Orange Route will only operate on weekdays Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. when the Blue Route is not in service. It will have stops on Laney Walker (Pavilion lll) eastbound, Laney Walker (Cancer Research Center), Nathan Deal Campus for Innovation. Service is provided to each stop approximately every 12 minutes.
Provides transportation services for the northern areas of the Health Sciences Campus.
Operates weekdays except on official Augusta University holidays, 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
There are five stops: Annex, Lot 55, Alumni Center, AUMC (Harper Street at Medical
Office Building), Lot 65. The shuttle visits each stop approximately every 10 minutes.
Note: The Green Route will end service to Lot 65, effective Nov. 4, 2019.
There are two Silver Shuttle Routes that serve the core of the Health Sciences campus. They operate on weekdays (except on official Augusta University holidays) 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. The Silver Route will visit each stop approximately every 8 – 10 minutes.
Silver 1 stops: Parking Lots 69 & 70, Moore Avenue, Parnell Street, Harper Street, Cancer Center stop on Laney Walker, and Laney Walker (Pavilion I) westbound. Operates Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Silver 2 stops: Parking Lots 69 & 70, Laney Walker (Pavilion III) eastbound, Laney Walker (Cancer
Research Center), Laney Stadium Lot 61 and Laney Walker westbound (Pavilion I). Operates
Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Provides service for southern areas of the Health Sciences Campus. Operates weekdays (except on official Augusta University holidays) 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. There are five stops: Laney Stadium Lot 61, Antioch Church (Lot 71), Beulah Grove (Vision Village Lot 72), Goss Lane and The Dental College of Georgia (DCG) . The shuttle visits each stop approximately every 7 – 8 minutes.
Provides Transportation service for Lot 55 of the Health Sciences Campus. Operates weekdays (except on official Augusta University holidays) 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 12 a.m. There are three stops: Lot 55, Augusta University Medical Center (AUMC) Entrance B/West, AUMC/Medical Office Building (Harper Street). The shuttle visits each stop approximately every 7 - 8 minutes.
