The JagExpress is a campus shuttle service, providing a safe, alternative mode of transportation for students, faculty and staff across the campuses of Augusta University. Drivers are professionally licensed employees with Horizon Motor Coach, a Harlem, Georgia, business, fully licensed by the DOT with more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry.

JagExpress Route Information  JagExpress Shuttle Schedule Fall 2023

BLUE ROUTE

The route begins at University Village, and continues with stops at Christenberry Fieldhouse, University Hall (Summerville), Student Center West (Health Sciences), and then reverses back to University Village.

The Blue Route follows a time schedule. Please refer to Passio-GO for times and departure locations.


GOLD ROUTE

Provides service for southern areas of the Health Sciences Campus. The Gold Route operates weekdays (except official university holidays) 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. There are four stops: Laney High Stadium/Lot 61, Antioch/ Lot 71, The College of Science & Mathematics, and the Dental College of Georgia Commons. The shuttle visits each stop approximately every 10-12 minutes.


UV to HEALTH SCIENCES MORNING EXPRESS

Provides direct service from University Village to the Health Sciences Campus each morning at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. The shuttle can be tracked as part of the Gold Route on the Passio-GO app.



JagExpress Routes for Fall 2023

BLUE ROUTE

Provides service to all four Augusta campuses when undergraduate classes are in session. The route begins at the Laney High School Stadium (Lot 61) and continues with stops at the Georgia Cancer Center, Student Center, and then continues to the Summerville Campus at Allgood Hall. It loops Summerville to stop at University Hall, travels to Lot 38 on Chafee Ave, and then returns to the Laney-Walker corridor.

  • Morning / Afternoon: Mon-Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Evenings: Mon-Thurs, 3-10 p.m. and Fri, 3–7 p.m.

 

BLUE EXPRESS

The Blue EXPRESS route provides direct service between the Health Sciences Student Center and University Hall. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A Blue Express or Blue Route bus departs from University Hall and the westbound Health Science Student Center locations every 6 to 8 minutes.


GOLD ROUTE

Provides service for southern areas of the Health Sciences Campus. The Gold Route operates weekdays (except official university holidays) 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. There are four stops: Laney High Stadium/Lot 61, Antioch / Lot 71, The College of Science & Mathematics, and the Dental College of Georgia Commons. UV to HEALTH SCIENCES MORNING EXPRESS

Provides direct service from University Village to the Health Sciences Campus each morning at 7:35 a.m., 8:35 a.m. and 9:35 a.m. Operates during the Fall & Spring semester on days where undergraduate classes are held. The shuttle can be tracked as part of the Gold Route on the Passio-GO app.


LOT 55 ROUTE

Provides express service to parking at Lot 55. Operates weekdays (except on official Augusta University holidays) 5:30 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. There are three stops: Lot 55, AUMC Entrance B/West and the AUMC/Medical Office Building (Harper Street). The Lot 55 shuttle visits each stop approximately every 10 – 12 minutes.


SILVER ROUTE

The Silver Shuttle Route serves the core of the Augusta University Medical Center. It operates weekdays (except on official Augusta University holidays) from 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Silver Route Stops include Chafee Avenue, Moore Avenue, Parnell Street, Harper Street, Georgia Cancer Center and the Health Sciences Campus Student Center. The Silver Route will visit each stop approximately every 10-12 minutes.
