The Jeanne Clery Act is a federal statute requiring colleges and universities that receive federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics.

These reports provide statistics for the previous three years concerning crimes reported to the Augusta University Police Department that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned, leased or controlled by Augusta University.

Augusta University distributes a notice of the availability of the "Annual Fire Safety and Security Report" by October 1 of each year to every member of the Augusta University community.
