The Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response provides leadership, support, and training to reduce the disruption of service and loss of life and property by developing mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery strategies for Augusta University and Augusta University Health during disasters and emergency situations through a comprehensive, risk-based emergency preparedness platform.

This year’s event provided services to more than 90% of the farmworkers who volunteered to participate in the event.
Augusta University and several community partners recently held a drill to test resources and responses during an emergency situation.
