Telephones at Augusta University
Augusta University uses Cisco IP telephones. These phones work very similarly to a traditional phone except voice calls are transported via the enterprise data network rather than analog telephone lines. Cisco IP telephones have all the features and functionality of a traditional phone along with the enhanced capabilities of a sophisticated corporate telephone system. Because the new system will run on the enterprise data network, calls between IP phones have more predictable call quality and improved security.
