We’ve designed special programming for our first time students that will run during move-in week. These programs are open to residential and commuter first year students only! It will be a great way for new students to meet other new jags in a socially distanced and fun environment.

Jaguar Spirit Week
Show your Jaguar Spirit each and every day of Ready, Set, Go Augusta! through our daily spirit challenges! Dress up for the day (you can do this at home too!) and send your photos to sle@augusta.edu. We will post them to Instagram each day and random winners will receive Jag Swag!
Virtual Information Sessions, How-Tos of Augusta University
Learn all about campus life, student budgeting, mental health, and how to use the Career Center in Ready, Set, Go Augusta virtual information sessions!
Virtual 5k, sponsored by Campus Recreation
Get Fit with Campus Recreation during Ready, Set, Go Augusta! A Virtual 5k for you to go at your own pace. Email your completed time and a snapshot celebrating your 5k achievement to wellnesscenter@augusta.edu to be entered into a random drawing for JagSwag prizes!
Savannah River Kayak Trips, sponsored by Campus Recreation
Get to know the CSRA in a special way. Traverse the Savannah River with Campus Recreation. Spaces are limited and require advance registration and a waiver release. Kayaks and transportation of the kayaks are provided by Campus Recreation. More details to come!

Smores Social Night; Housing & Residence Life

Description: Get to know new friends and roommates through Smores Social Hour. Students will roast marshmallows as a group or take a pack to-go for your room.
DIY Crafts; Student Life & Engagement

Description: Create some Augusta University art! Participate in a guided painting session of the Summerville Blanchard Fountain (JSAC Ballroom) and face covering decorating (JSAC Hardy).
Self-Guided Paint; Housing & Residence Life

Description: Enjoy some free painting in the Oak Hall Connect Space. Paint your heart away!
Virtual Trivia Night; New Student & Family Transitions

Backyard Games & Ice Cream Social; Campus Recreation

Description: Take part in backyard games to compete against friends and staff members! Enjoy a refreshing ice cream too!
Cultural Identity Hour; Multicultural Student Engagement

Movie Night; Jaguar Production Crew

Description: Each movie will be shown at 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Bring along your new friends to enjoy a Jaguar Production Crew tradition -- movie night!
Grocery Bingo; Housing & Residence Life

Description: Play Bingo to make some new friends. Win some important grocery items along the way as well as chances to win Jag Swag.
