Freshman Convocation is a welcome event hosted for incoming, first-year freshman to integrate them into the AU experience! Students will be welcomed by AU executive leadership, receive their class pin, take a class photo, meet the faculty and staff who work in their college, and participate in a college brunch. This is an exciting time for students to begin their legacy at AU, and the entire AU community will be there to support them!

Following the rally, the excitement continues with a high-energy takeover featuring music, giveaways, engaging activities, and opportunities for students to connect and celebrate the start of a new academic year.

Whether you're a first-year student or returning to campus, this is a great opportunity to try something different, meet people, and start the semester with a little adventure. No experience is necessary, and our staff will provide all equipment and instruction. Free for all Augusta University students. Wear closed-toe shoes, bring a water bottle, and drop in anytime between 4:00 and 8:00 PM.
