Mrs. Whitehead was an ardent supporter of education, and she gave generously to many
educational institutions during her life. The scholarship program awards annual grants
for the education of deserving female students with financial need.
Funds are awarded to eligible applicants based on scholarship award criteria. Eligible
applicants must be admitted and enrolled into the College of Nursing, College of Allied
Health, Medical College of Georgia, or College of Dental Medicine.

- The application includes your official state of residency, your religious affiliation,
and that you grant permission to Augusta University to include your name on a publication
of scholarship recipients and release information from the application and tour academic
and financial records to parties involved in the selection of recipients for the scholarships.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need, as indicated by a completed Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
