The Emily Flanders Nairn Award was established by former dean Lucy Marion in loving
memory of her aunt, Mrs. Emily Flanders Nairn. The scholarship is awarded to a graduate
nursing student who focuses their studies on any aspects of addiction or its consequences
with preference given to an applicant that demonstrates financial need. An award of
$1000 is given.
- Submit a proposal identifying a treatment plan for a specific addiction.
- Provide a recommendation from a Augusta University faculty member.
- Submit an essay describing your financial need to include evidence such as debt load,
unmet need, etc.
