Established in November 1992 in tribute to Marilyn Chew Lunn, who served on the College of Nursing faculty from 1975 to 1981. The recipient of the award will demonstrates outstanding leadership in either nursing education or clinical nursing practice. An award of $1,500 is given.

Applications will be judged on breadth and quality of leadership in nursing education or clinical nursing practice and originality of leadership contributions. 

***Faculty of Augusta University CON, or Alumni of Augusta University CON currently engaged in either nursing education or clinical nursing practice may apply for this scholarship.

Application Criteria:

  • Submit a current curriculum vitae
  • Submit a statement describing why you are a leader in either nursing education or clinical nursing practice
  • Submit examples demonstrating outstanding leadership in either nursing education or clinical nursing practice (i.e. publications, descriptions of special projects developed by the applicant, awards given for outstanding performance in education or practice, letters of commendation)
