We'll help you understand and meet the requirements for lab reports. Whether it's understanding how to arrange your content, ensuring formatting and citations are correct, or learning the conventions of scientific style, the CWE is here for you.
Whether it's for classes or professional conferences, we can assist you in understanding your audience for presentations, brainstorming ideas, organizing content, writing a transcript, and practicing your delivery. Many presentations are now multimodal and include a variety of visual and digital aids. The CWE can help you integrate these components in ways that meets your audience's needs and expectations. We can assist with presentations that will take place in-person or virtually.
Research posters are a widely used academic format designed to present complex findings in a concise and visually engaging manner. Our team will guide you through the conventions of this genre and help you structure your content for maximum clarity and impact. Collaborating with us ensures your poster is well-organized, and tailored to your intended audience. We’ll support you in refining your message, enhancing data visualization, and achieving overall coherence—so your work communicates its significance quickly and effectively.
The CWE can help you create infographics that are clear, visually appealing, and tailored to your audience. We’ll work with you to organize your information effectively and design visuals that support your message.
The Center for Writing Excellence (CWE) supports students at every stage of the publication process. Whether you're working on a journal article, a chapter for an edited volume, or a book manuscript, our staff are here to provide guidance and feedback to help you refine and polish your work for submission.
We help writers at any stage in their essay-writing process: Brainstorming, drafting, revision, and editing. You'll receive assistance with projects for any class, major, or discipline. The CWE also assists with non-classroom related personal or professional projects. Whether you're seeking to write a clearer, more thorough History of Present Illness for your medical course, a literature review for your honors thesis project, a discussion post for your nursing course, a case study for your marketing class, or a research paper for English composition--or anything in between--the CWE has you covered.
