Arrive no later than 12:50 p.m. on your scheduled PCL Clinical Experience session
or you are at risk for losing professionalism points. Bring your personal computer and stethoscope. When you arrive, sign in on attendance
QR code and go to "Clinical Experience Virtual Room" on computer for Orientation with
Dr. Broughton.
Review EMR Training Videos: If you have not completed a medicine history reconciliation or updated social history
of your patient, please attempt to do so during this block.
NOTE: Remember you must get a 2.5 or 3 on your documentation feedback for block 9 or 10.
If you do not you will do remediation during October. Reviewing the below should set
you up for success to receive a 2.5 or 3 on your feedback.
Complete your patient's note (may use M1s note and edit) by 5:00 PM 48 hours after
the day after your patient encounter and sign/submit your note to Clinical Experience
Preceptor for signature and PCL preceptor as a reviewer. If you have an SP encounter,
send note to my Clinical Experience Preceptor for signature and PCL preceptor as a
reviewer. If you have and SP encounter, send note to my Clinical Experience Preceptor
and PCL preceptor in email for feedback. If this is not completed on time, you will
lose professionalism points.
Send feedback received from the Qualtrics survey to my Mentee(s) to review. If you
had an SP encounter include your edited note in the email for them to review.
For Block 10, you will be practicing the first half of the RUSH exam including: PSLA, Apical 4-chamber heart, Subcostal 4-chamber heart, IVC long at Right Atrium,
and Lung. You will submit these 5 images reviewed by PCL faculty during Block 10.
