Math Contest Registration

Welcome! This marks the 50th year of the College of Science and Mathematics Contest, an annual High School competition organized by the Department of Mathematics here at Augusta University. The competition consists of three segments: an individual written exam, a team competition, and a Math Jeopardy segment. The top four overall teams vie for the championship in a Math Jeopardy competition. 

The 2026 Contest will be held in the JSAC Ballroom, on the Augusta University Summerville Campus on Friday, February 27, 2026. Please refer to the timetable below for an overview of the times and rules of the contest.

Registration Details and To-Do List

Send the completed, fillable PDF Entrance Form to Dr. Michael Otunuga via email or fax (details provided on the form). Bring a printed copy of the completed Registration Form with you on the day of the tournament. Please be sure to fill out all fields on both forms before sending them.

To-Do List Before the Contest:

  • Accept invitation to participate in the 51st Augusta University Mathematics Contest.
  • Complete and submit the Entrance Form on or before February 6, 2026. See E-mail or mailing

    address on the Entrance form

  • Turn in the completed Registration Form on the competition day (February 27,

    2026). The form should contain names of newly added students not on the Entrance

    Form. You can submit this in person on February 27, 2026.
