Dedicating Resources to Educationally Advance More Students (DREAMS) Scholarship Program is a need-based aid program available to assist AU students who are Georgia residents enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at least half time. Awards are based on eligibility, remaining financial need, and available funding.

Eligible work activities include employment (including Federal Work-Study), internships, externships, practicums, clinicals, student teaching, volunteer or community service, and military service. Students will report work hours and upload documentation through GAfutures.

Eligible students may receive up to $1,500 per semester and $3,000 per academic year, subject to remaining financial need and available funding.
Yes. Students must be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant.
Yes. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 SAP GPA and a 2.0 calculated HOPE GPA.
Yes. The required Financial Toolkit through GAfutures must be completed before the first disbursement.
