The Augusta University Degree Completion Initiative (AUDCI) is a collaboration with the Department of Defense to help the various branches achieve their missions by creating a system to help DoD employees, both military and non-military, earn their bachelor's degree here at Augusta University.
This collaborative program between East Georgia State College and Augusta University is designed to accommodate students in Augusta and the surrounding area who do not meet freshman admissions requirements at Augusta University. EGSC students can take classes on Augusta University's Summerville campus, and following the completion of 30 credit hours in the program, those with a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0 or higher can opt to transfer into a bachelor's degree program at Augusta University.
New Augusta University graduates have one year from their graduation date to utilize the Career Services department free of charge. Any alumni that graduated more than one year ago will fall under our fee-based alumni services program. Services include career advising, resume critiques, and access to listings of Augusta area professional local, regional, national and international jobs openings.

The Office of Innovation Commercialization is proud to host the Life Sciences Business Development Center - a 14,000 square-foot facility that includes wet labs, offices, shared equipment, common areas and a lively atmosphere for innovation - all dedicated to incubating great ideas through its innovative startup companies. We are excited to be closely involved in Augusta University intellectual property commercialization-related activities with companies from the Fortune 100 to the newest startup firm.

Augusta University faculty and staff at the Fort Gordon site and the larger AU community appreciate the service of our military men and women and are grateful for the sacrifices that they and their families make to protect the freedoms and security that we enjoy.
To assist them in their educational goals, we offer Bachelor of Science Information Technology, Cyber Security classes at Fort Gordon, ACES.
Those service members interested in other majors will find almost 150 degree and certificate programs in departments on the Summerville and Health Sciences campuses (located only 20 minutes from Ft. Gordon). Advisors at the Ft. Gordon site offer a broad range of services at the site including admissions, financial aid, VA benefits, Tuition Assistance, and can also connect prospective students to specialized services offered by professionals in each department on campus as well.
In addition to active duty military, we also serve military families, veterans and Department of Defense civilians and GS workers.
Our campus is home to a variety of programs and units that are available and open to our community neighbors.
We welcome residents of the Augusta-Richmond County area who are 18 years or older. Those who are interested may obtain a Community User card at the Information Desk. Community Borrower memberships may be purchased in three-month intervals for $10 per interval. The card entitles the user to check out up to a total of five (5) items from the University Libraries. Users must agree to conform to the rules and regulations of the library.
The Music Conservatory at Augusta University is a music school for the community. The Music Conservatory offers private lessons for most instruments and voice types, various large and small ensembles for children and adults and summer music camps. Our teachers include faculty members of the Augusta University Music Department as well other highly qualified local professional musicians.
Following the belief that learning is a life-long experience, the Augusta University (AU) Literacy Center provides highly individualized, one-on-one tutoring sessions for those in the community who have a desire to become better readers. At the AU Literacy Center learners of all ages often start their tutoring sessions with reading abilities below grade level. Through intensive tutoring sessions they improve their grades, raise their test scores, learn productive study skills, build their academic self-confidence, and develop a heartfelt enthusiasm for learning.
