Cyber-Physical Systems are engineered systems that are built from, and depend upon, the seamless integration of computation and physical components. Our team's research focuses on developing fundamental theories and practical applications of building computationally efficient, intelligent, reliable, and secure cyber-physical systems in networked and open environments.

Research areas of interest for the Cyber-Physical, IoT and Edge Systems research group include:

  • Intelligent Cyber-Physical Control Systems
  • Data Extraction and Analytics on the Edge
  • Embedded Systems Security, such as medical device security
  • Security and Privacy in IoT, such as data security and privacy in smart spaces
  • IoT and Edge Applications
  • Augmented and Virtual Reality
