This week, Chris Judkins, Vignesh Sivakumar and Alec Cornu Mitchell will proudly walk across the commencement stage and become the first three students to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity engineering from Augusta University.
"Even when I was in high school, I thought, ‘Cyber would be a good choice.’ Then, when I got to AU, I knew it was the right choice," said student Lauren Wheeler.
“I am honored that we won the competition. We’ve worked diligently for months and it’s an amazing feeling to see our hard work pay off and that others are just excited about our mission with the KanDo board as we are,” said student Alexis Lanier.
The Jaguar basketball team is in the Elite Eight, an alum and associate professor returns to discuss social issues, an Emmy nomination could be in the works for some students and a cyber faculty member earns a big honor.
