Primary Care Summit

The Primary Care Summit is an AHEC-coordinated effort to prioritize projects, pilots, and/or other interventions that will achieve our goal of 100 Primary Care Providers per 100,000 population in Georgia. The first summit was in 2008 and was held annually, until 2016 when the event was then held on a biannual basis.

The 2023 Primary Care Summit took place on September 15th at Middle Georgia State University, in Macon, Georgia.  This Summit focused on the retention of graduates, students, residents, and practitioners in Primary Care.
