Program Recommendations

This program has two tracks or concentrations: technical and management.

Technical Track: MS in Information Security Management students pursuing the technical track are expected to have undergraduate degrees in a technical field (e.g., information technology, computer science, computer engineering) or a strong professional background in related technology.

Management Track: This track is designed to teach management cybersecurity skills to pair with the student's technical skills. MS in Information Security Management students pursuing the management track do not need a technical undergraduate degree. However, to increase employment opportunities, students without technical undergraduate degrees should possess technical skills from other sources (e.g., certifications, work experience).
