Brightspace/D2L

• Check for holds on your Pounce  account.
• Brightspace and Pounce sync with each other two times a day. The longest you should have to wait is 17 hours after registering, with no holds on your account.

Courses in Brightspace typically open at 12:00 a.m. on the first day of the semester, some instructors may open theirs up sooner.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students will continue to have access to their courses in D2L Brightspace for three years after graduating from a program at Augusta University.

• Instructor-led Training: An Instructional Systems Analyst (ISA) provides training and support for D2L Brightspace and other instructional systems.

• Center for Instructional Innovation: Instructional designers assist faculty with implementation of best practices and quality standards in the design and delivery of online and technology-enhanced courses.

Instructor enrollments occur through Banner . Once your assignment is turned into Banner you will have access to the course in Brightspace within 17 hours.

Your courses are available on D2L Brightspace on the first day of the prior term. (For example, your summer 2021 course will be available to you on the first day of the spring 2021 term.)

If an individual’s involvement in a course is not a part of their official teaching effort, you may add them to your course by choosing "add a participant" in the LMS course class list.

Lectures and speeches for your courses can be pre-recorded and integrated into the Brightspace LMS for students to view.
