The Center for Instructional Innovation annual Innovation Competition will take place September, 2021–April, 2022. The competition aims to engage students through discovery and innovation for the benefit of our communities. This year’s challenge is to solve a need for your community.

Augusta University’s College of Education receives a ‘perfect’ accreditation review

Every seven years, educator preparation programs in the state of Georgia go through re-accreditation by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. This year, the College of Education at Augusta University received a flawless accreditation review and a perfect site visitor report from the GaPSC. Congratulations to Dean Judi Wilson and her faculty, staff and students in the College of Education!

An advocate of literacy: Dr. Paulette Harris’ legacy continues in HUB for Community Innovation

The HUB will house four locally based nonprofits, including the Augusta University Literacy Center. “With this new building, her legacy will live on for years and years,” said Dr. Judi Wilson, dean of the College of Education.

Teaching Excellence Awards

The Augusta University Teaching Excellence Awards are designed to recognize the excellence of Augusta University educators and educational programs and to select nominees for the University System of Georgia Regents Teaching Excellence Awards program. All winners of the Augusta University awards will move forward as the university’s nominees for the Regents awards.
