Academic Technology Support

We offer academic technology support and training services to faculty and staff who use technology and software for teaching and learning at Augusta University.

Our services include:

  • Providing self-help resources such as video tutorials and step-by-step guides
  • Training sessions are available through individualized "one-on-one" sessions or group workshops
  • Consultation services to help faculty integrate technology into their teaching
  • Troubleshoot and test educational technologies
  • Technical support for educational technologies, we help faculty select and use the right educational technologies for their needs.

Skill Development and support through instructional continuity

Every college at Augusta University has an assigned Learning and Innovation Specialist (LIS). LIS's are the source for training, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for our instructional systems. These include Echo360 (lecture capture), Brightspace LMS by Desire2Learn, ExamSoft, TurnItIn, and other tools used for academic face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning.
