About the Committee
The Student Affairs Committee will work with and make recommendations to the administration and colleges. The committee advocates for students and student needs. They are responsive to issues and concerns brought to the committee by faculty, staff, and students concerning student life. The committee will oversee all issues related to faculty involvement with Student Activities funds and other student fee issues, including but not limited to student technology fees, Lyceum, laboratory fees, parking fees, university-wide scholarships, and financial aid.Membership
One to two representatives from each college and school serves a one-year term and are appointed by the Council of Chairs.

Meeting Schedule
The Student Affairs Committee typically meets at the beginning of each semester to set our agenda for the semester. When additional issues arise, a meeting is set if required or an e-mail exchange is started. The Chair with the representatives will set the meeting dates & times.
