Middle School Ensembles
Calling all rising stars in grades 6-8! The Conservatory Middle School Ensembles are your chance to shine, offering young musicians a vibrant and dynamic experience like no other. Open to talented students ready to explore fun and challenging music, these ensembles provide a supportive environment to build skills, boost confidence, and create lasting friendships. Whether you’re mastering the basics or aiming for the spotlight, this is your time to grow, perform, and love every note of the journey!
Middle School Jazz Band

The Middle School Jazz Band is open 6th-8th graders who have had at least one year of band or private lessons experience and will include the following instruments: piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium/baritone, tuba, drums, percussion, guitar, and bass.
Fall 2025 Schedule
The Middle School Jazz Band rehearses on Monday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Recital Hall of the Fine Arts Center on the Summerville Campus of Augusta University.

in the Augusta University Maxwell Theatre (Shared w/ MS Wind Symphony)
*Please note that in order to participate, attendance is mandatory for all of the rehearsals and the performance. Conflicts with your school band (such as district or all-state band) are excused.
Fee: $100 per semester
Middle School Wind Symphony
Mrs. Olivia Ladun-Nelson, Director
This ensemble is open to 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade brass, woodwind, and percussion players who have had at least one year of instrumental band experience or at least one year of private lessons. The ensemble performs one concert at the end of the semester.
Fall 2025 Schedule
Rehearsals take place on Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:00 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
