Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center serves as the home base for students at the Atlanta Campus. Kennestone is a Level I Trauma Center, and American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, and an American Heart Association Joint Commission-certified Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Plus, with one of the busiest emergency departments in the state—with over 120,000 annual patient visits—we have the patient acuity and volume to prepare you for any situation.

We also offer a state-of-the-art student space that is directly connected to Kennestone Hospital, providing seamless access to both environments. Students benefit from dedicated classrooms, simulation labs, computer workstations, gathering spaces, and sleep rooms, creating a convenient and supportive environment to promote learning, wellness, collaboration, and hands-on clinical education.

In addition to Kennestone, MCG Atlanta students gain valuable clinical experience through our partnerships with Cobb Medical Center and Douglas Medical Center, North Fulton Medical Center, Paulding Medical Center, and Wellstar Windy Hill.
