Poster Competition (Video)

Video Submission Deadline: March 27, 2026

Participants may elect to compete in the optional Poster Competition. Competing participants: sedrintro

  • submit an abstract for acceptance and follow poster presentation guidelines.
  • must also submit a recorded video presentation of their poster. 
  • will meet with competition judges to discuss their research.
  • are eligible to win monetary awards and recognition. 

Refer to the SeDR Guidelines for complete information on participation. 

Video Presentation Guidelines

  • Length of video presentations should be six to eight minutes.
  • Dress in professional attire for the presentation recording.
  • Begin by introducing yourself.
  • Include your name in the video file name. 
  • Ensure you have enabled “Public” sharing of the recording. If competition judges are unable to access your video recording, you will be ineligible to compete. 

Video Presentation Instructions

To create a video presentation, convert your poster into a PowerPoint (or similar format) and record yourself presenting the content. 

Any video capture platform is acceptable. Regardless of platform, ensure you have enabled “Public” or "Anyone with this Link" access of the recording. If competition judges are unable to access your video recording, you will be ineligible to compete.

When Using Echo 360:

  • Log in to Echo account and record your presentation using ECHO Universal capture.
  • Set your display options to capture yourself as you present the poster. Seeing you present is an important requirement.
