Our missions is tocreate transformative and inclusive opportunities for students through co-curricular experiences, exceptional services, and welcoming environments. We will support student growth and development through campus collaborations that promote competence, integrity, and compassion.
The members of the council will be selected based upon their application materials. Our goal is to select diverse group students from various colleges and majors, races and ethnicities, and campuses. Ten applicants in total will be selected to serve on this council.
Each member will attend meetings each semester (fall and spring) held monthly on Fridays from noon to 1:30 p.m. Council members will receive regular e-mails that will include the date, relevant information, and location of each meeting.
Selected students are expected to arrive on time to the meetings and to participate in the discussions, providing relevant and insightful information on behalf of their peers.
Applications should be turned in to the Vice President for Student Affairs office (Bellevue Hall), Student Center on Health Sciences campus or e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00 p.m. on September 20, 2013.
