A project manager is assigned to work directly with a project leader from the functional area from the initiation phase when the project and project teams are defined, to the implementation phase when the project tasks are worked to deliver the deliverables and objectives of the project, to the closing phase when the lessons learned are captured and the project closes and moves to operations.
All projects, initiatives, and services are planned and managed by our project managers by utilizing industry best practices and standards. The tools, templates, and processes used by IE Project Management are all based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
IE’s facilitation services support units by providing a high-level administrative process that engages stakeholders, facilitates discussions, and advances progress towards identified university- or enterprise-level goals.
These services are provided to large-scale efforts which do not typically meet the IE project management criteria, but still require a process driver to ensure success.
