The Director of Academic Planning & Assessment will collaborate with Colleges and Schools as well as academic and student affairs officers to foster academic continuous improvement. The Director reports to the Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and supervises the Academic Planning Coordinator. The Director partners closely with counterparts within the Division of Institutional Effectiveness, particularly the Director Integrated Planning & Assessment to foster coherence of planning efforts across the mission; the Director of Institutional Analytics to promote data-informed academic planning and assessment; and the Project Managers to support academic strategic initiatives. The Director collaborates with leaders and peers across the institution to advance the university’s educational mission and strategic priorities as set for by the Provost & Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The Program Coordinator provides coordination for assigned programs within Institutional Effectiveness (accreditation, planning & assessment, project management, faculty credentialing), special projects, and other initiatives; for IE processes, communications, and resources; and for IE applications. This position also coordinates services and processes pertaining to planning and assessment, comprehensive program review, regional and specialized accreditation, project management, institutional research, change management, and process improvement.
