Neurology Residency Subspecialties

The Medical College of Georgia Department of Neurology serves as a referral center and therefore our residents are able to see a wide diverse range of patients. The department is comprised of a strong foundation in general neurology and neurological subspecialties.

Epilepsy Group

Epilepsy

Our epilepsy center is a Level IV NAEC Certified Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.  We provide multi-disciplinary surgical evaluations for patients with intractable, medically resistant epilepsy.  We manage complex cases of epilepsy including epilepsy during pregnancy and provide all of potential surgical options available including neuromodulation and epilepsy surgery.

Movement & Memory Disorders

Our movement disorders section manages 1 of the 33 prestigious comprehensive Parkinson's Disease Centers of Excellence in the United States.

Child Neurology

Large patient referral based associated with the Based in the Children's Hospital of Georgia. As the only healthcare facility in the region dedicated exclusively to pediatric care Children's Hospital of Georgia has the largest team of general pediatricians and pediatric subspecialties in our region.
