  • Minimum of 3 years of paramedic experience
  • Currently enrolled or completed* an OEMS approved online Critical Care Program
  • Or currently hold ISBC FP-C or CCP-C certification

OEMS has approved the following online programs as meeting the minimum requirements: FoamFrat 100 hr. course, Impact 100 hr. course, FlightBridge 100 hr. course, and UMBC 100 hr. course.

Candidates must submit a receipt of one of the above courses providing proof of enrollment. Students must provide a certificate of completion before the end of class.
The approved course must be 100 hours.
Candidates must provide a course completion certificate from FoamFrat, Impact, FlightBridge, or UMBC. The Course completion date must be dated no later than August 1, 2024.
Students will attend in-class sessions for lectures, skills, and simulations (10 Days). Class will be held on a shift friendly schedule (24/48). Students are expected to attend 100% of class days. Students will schedule and attend clinicals in ICU’s and ED’s for a minimum of 80 hours.
Students are required to provide proof of completed vaccine series or positive titers for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR); Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (TDAP), Varicella (chicken pox), QuantiFERON Gold Tuberculosis blood test, and current Influenza vaccine.

No, this is not a prep course for the certification exams. This course is designed to bridge the gap between the online programs and to meet the minimum skills, simulations, and clinical requirements necessary to obtain the critical care paramedic endorsement for the State of Georgia.
