- Non-academic, personal factors such as professionalism, motivation, maturity, integrity,
interpersonal communication, service to others, demonstrated commitment to study medicine,
and practice in Georgia will be considered by the AIM selection committee.
- Meet requirements for matriculation into medical school, which includes a criminal
history background check and drug screen, as well as compliance with immunization
and technical standard requirements.
- Meet requirements to be employed as a medical resident, including but not limited
to being authorized to work in the United States, passing criminal history checks, and complying
with immunization requirements.
- Must be able to perform a medical school’s essential functions (either with or without
reasonable accommodations) required to complete the MCG medical school curriculum.
- Must commit to Early Assurance with MCG if accepted into the AIM program and successfully
meet requirements for matriculation.
- Must complete the MCG multiple mini-interview (MMI) during the designated timeframe and demonstrate performance
consistent with MCG matriculants.
- Any exception to the above requirements is subject to review by the MCG AIM Committee
and handled on a case-by-case basis.
