The Augusta University Arts Council coordinates and supports arts and humanities-related activities on our campuses and fosters collaborations throughout the institution and within the community. Your support helps us host events like the Noon Arts Concerts and future events!

Acquisitions & Donations

The mission of the Acquisitions & Donations Committee is to provide support and mechanisms for the acquisition of appropriate, quality visual arts (drawings, paintings, sculpture, graphic and architectural elements) for the hospital and campuses of Augusta University.

Our Goals

To provide coordinated and experienced leadership in an advisory capacity to the university and health system administration regarding the arts and humanities to include the display of artworks on campus and art-related donations to the university.

To enhance the healing and academic environment on campus for patients, their families, visitors, employees and students through the arts and humanities.

Elevate the profile of the arts and humanities on campus and enhance the community's knowledge and image of the university and health system through the arts and humanities.

To maintain a diverse and active AU Arts Council membership, which reflects an interest in arts and humanities. To support the establishment of spaces on campus to showcase works of artistic or cultural value related to Augusta University.

The Augusta University Arts Council is an interagency committee, with volunteer membership drawn from the university and the local arts community. The current members are:

The Noon Arts Concert is looking for performers who play a musical instrument, sing, dance or recite poetry for its Oct. 31 concert.
