DONALD E. MANER and CARBON T. STEWART PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SCHOLARSHIP FUND
This scholarship was created by Donald E. Maner, PharmD, PA-C, and Bonnie A. Dadig, EdD, PA-C. in memory of their friend and colleague Carbon T. Stewart, M.A.R., PA-C, a graduate of the 1974 physician assistant class who passed away in 2012. Carbon was a founding member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and served on the organization's inaugural Board of Directors from 1975-76 before serving as President from 1976-77. He also served as Chairman of the Georgia Delegation to the American Academy of Physician Assistants, House of Delegates, in 1977. Carbon and Donald were both military veterans who served the United States before they became physician assistants.
