Thank you for your interest in bringing students to the Augusta University campus. We enjoy hosting guests and telling the Augusta University story. To provide for a positive experience for everyone involved in a group visit, please acknowledge the following Group Visit Expectations by submitted signed Codes of Conduct for each registered student prior to the scheduled visit.

  • Group Visits are comprised of an information session and walking tour plus any additional programming agreed upon in advance. Students and Chaperones commit to attending and fully participating in their complete, confirmed visit agenda.
  • Augusta University hosts campus visits, rain or shine, cancelling only in the event of thunder or lightning at the time of the visit. Please prepare adequately for weather. On days when the forecast is greater than 50% for thunderstorms at the scheduled group visit time, visits may be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours in advance without penalty.
  • Group vehicles must display provided parking passes and park in the lot indicated in the tour confirmation and details email.
  • Registered students will check in upon arrival. Non-registered guests or chaperones will be unable to participate in the scheduled group visit. Groups and individual students may not roam the campus unescorted by a University representative prior to check in or following the group visit’s conclusion.
  • Restrooms and vending machines will be available for your convenience and refreshment.
  • It is essential that guests are aware of campus guidance and directions at the time they are presented; therefore, all guests will be asked to silence and stow their cellular telephones at check-in through departure from campus. Tours must be stopped when guests diminish the experience of others by using their cell phones.
  • Guest group leadership and chaperones accept all responsibility for student behaviors, budgets and health care treatment necessary while their group is on campus. It is highly recommended that groups bring student guests’ health care releases and permission to treat documents with them to campus.
