External Events
Ensuring a perfect event means knowing exactly what to expect. An external event is
an event that is sponsored by an individual or organization not affiliated with Augusta
University and will host external participants (non-AU students, faculty, and staff).
- External event organizers must complete the AU Event Request Form for review and approval by the AU Event Committee.
- This request must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event, as Legal requires
45 days to process contracts.

- To report an issue with a room or equipment, contact the Office of Classroom & Event
Services staff.
