Todd Jenkins, MM

North Augusta native Todd Jenkins is a graduate of North Augusta High School, the University of South Carolina and Ithaca College. He currently teaches band at Augusta Christian Schools, and teaches trumpet at Augusta University and The University of South Carolina Aiken. Additionally, Todd serves on the music staff at Kiokee Baptist Church in Appling, Georgia, and conducts the Aiken Concert Band. As a trumpet player, Todd performs as third trumpet with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and the North Charleston Pops! Orchestra. He also performs with the Augusta Symphony and Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra, and has performed with the Charleston Symphony and the Kings Brass. Before moving back to North Augusta in 2014, Todd taught at Brevard College, Wando High School, the Charleston School of the Arts, and Charleston Southern University. In addition to his playing and conducting duties, Todd maintains an active private studio. He lives in North Augusta with his wife Kate (a professional trombonist), their young son, and numerous pets.
