Medical College of Georgia Savannah Student Laptop Specifications
These specifications are for accepted or currently enrolled students for the MCG Savannah campus only. Students on the Augusta campus should follow these requirements. University-owned computers should be purchased through the standard procurement process and follow those requirements.
These are the minimum hardware requirements; you may choose to exceed these requirements for a better computing experience. Requirements are based off specifications for testing software as well as known curriculum computing needs. Extended Warranty
An extended warranty is not required, but is recommended to ensure you are not without a laptop if yours breaks. AppleCare Plus is recommended for Macs. A 3-year warranty with accidental damage coverage provided by the manufacturer is recommended for PCs.
