Medical College of Georgia (MCG) PC/MAC minimum Laptop Hardware Specifications

Computer specifications are for accepted or currently enrolled MCG students only. These specifications are not applicable to department or enterprise owned computers. MCG Savannah campus should follow these requirements.

These are the minimum hardware requirements; you may choose to exceed these requirements for a better computing experience. Requirements are based off specifications for testing software (Examplify, NBME), as well as known curriculum computing needs.

Note: Students are required to purchase a Cat 6 Ethernet cable for a stable internet connection.  Ethernet adapter may be required if laptop requires one. Ethernet network cables can be purchased locally or on-line at office or home building supplies vendors.
