Ellen Gillis received an American Heart Association Council on Hypertension Onsite Trainee Poster Award and was the Best Poster Presentation for the Postdocs award at the 8th Annual Southern Translational Education and Research Conference.

Nicole Klee won a travel award to attend the Diabetes and Diabetic Uropathy Symposium at the American Urological Association.
