The Pediatric Residency Program at the Medical College of Georgia offers learners an environment supported by comprehensive instruction in both academic and community settings to prepare young physicians for the independent practice of pediatric care.
Our graduating residents are well prepared to begin a career path in either the general practice of pediatrics or a subspecialty career. The clinical and educational opportunities during residency are designed to build a foundation of lifelong learning and service.
The curriculum is based on the six core competencies established by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The program meets the guidelines of the Residency Review Committee for Pediatrics and is fully accredited by the ACGME.
