Research Summary:

Ms. Roberts is the research manager for the Department of Family and Community Medicine and an ACRP-Certified Clinical Research Coordinator. With more than 12 years of clinical research experience in various disciplines (to include psychiatry, ophthalmology, and nephrology) and 2 years’ experience as an auditor with the AU IRB, she joined the Department of Family and Community Medicine in August 2019.

She is skilled in all aspects of human subjects research including: grants management, assistance with data collection and analysis, assistance with manuscript preparation, assistance with development and execution of study protocols, IRB submissions, maintenance of regulatory and subject documentation, patient advocacy, team management, and ensuring compliance of research regulations at both the institutional and federal level.  

Since Ms. Roberts began working with Dr. Ledford in 2020, she has developed a passion for community engagement and looks forward to witnessing the positive impact the DFCM research team makes on the Augusta community.
