Aging
Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University - The Department of Neuroscience & Regenerative Medicine is seeking applications for
a new open rank (tenure-track/tenured) faculty position in inflammaging and brain
aging. We are especially interested in candidates whose research is focused on molecular
and cellular basis of neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s disease. Rank will be determined
based on qualifications and experience.

The Department of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine is the home of the Transgenic and Genome Editing Core and the Viral Vector Core and houses a state-of-the-art microscopic facility, including multiphoton confocal microscopes, N-STORM super-resolution microscope, light-sheet microscope, imaging flow cytometry, and slide scanner. Department faculty have access to the University core research facilities for electron microscopy, cell and tissue imaging, small animal behavior and imaging, genomics and proteomics, and bioinformatics.
