The Pre-Clerkship phase focuses on building your foundational medical knowledge, learning clinical skills, understanding patient care systems, and preparing for early professional identity formation. While this phase is primarily classroom-based, you will also complete activities that introduce you to clinical environments, research opportunities, and early EMR exposure.
Our goal is to help you feel confident, supported, and ready for the transition into patient-centered learning in the Clerkship phase.
