Augusta University awarded $1.3 million grant to expand student support

The Office of Government Relations works with local, state and federal officials to advocate for the interests and needs of Augusta University and its community. We build and maintain strategic relationships with government stakeholders and inform them about our institutional goals and imperatives. We also monitor and analyze legislation and policy that affect our academic, research and health care missions.

Over the past 12 years, Government Relations at Augusta University has recruited more than 20 outstanding students to participate in internships at the U.S. Capitol.
