AU keeps the momentum going at the State Capitol
Following the success of last year’s legislative session, Augusta University President Russell T. Keen and the Government Relations team have a lot to celebrate.






The Office of Government Relations works with local, state and federal officials to advocate for the interests and needs of Augusta University and its community. We build and maintain strategic relationships with government stakeholders and inform them about our institutional goals and imperatives. We also monitor and analyze legislation and policy that affect our academic, research and health care missions.

Following the success of last year’s legislative session, Augusta University President Russell T. Keen and the Government Relations team have a lot to celebrate.

House Speaker Rep. Jon Burns will deliver the keynote address at Augusta University’s Undergraduate Commencement on Dec. 11.

“The TRIO SSS grant is more than funding; it is an investment in potential that will empower our students to persist and succeed,” says AU President Russell T. Keen.

“Residents and fellows are key to attracting and retaining more doctors in Georgia," says David C. Hess, MD.
