Nursing is more than a job – it’s a life calling. Ask any of our nearly 1,900 Augusta University Health nurses, who will proudly share that our number one priority is patient health and safety. Even when a shift ends, our nurses' compassion and concern for their patients continues.

Every year, the week of May 6-12 is celebrated as National Nurses Week. It’s an opportunity for us to recognize the skilled, compassionate work our nurses perform each day and to honor and celebrate the integral role nurses play in providing high-quality health care to their patients.
