Teaching Interests

My teaching interests center on fostering clinical decision-making, professional identity formation, and lifelong learning in Physician Assistant students. I enjoy creating engaging learning experiences that connect foundational medical knowledge to real-world patient care while emphasizing patient-centered care, interprofessional teamwork, ethical practice, and service to underserved populations

Research Interests

My research interests focus on Physician Assistant education, evidence-based medicine, and strategies to enhance clinical decision-making and patient outcomes in healthcare practice. I am particularly interested in scholarship that supports the translation of current evidence into clinical care and improves the preparation of healthcare professionals for practice. As a co-author and faculty mentor, I am currently collaborating with multiple Physician Assistant students on senior thesis projects examining a variety of evidence-based medicine topics aimed at enhancing the clinical practice of currently practicing healthcare providers.
