I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the Citadel in 1995 and received my MD from The Medical College of Georgia in 1999. I completed my postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at The Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia, in 2004 and served in the US Navy from 1999-2008. I am board-certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care.
My teaching interests lie in adult medicine in both inpatient(primarily) as well as outpatient settings.
My clinical interest is the same as above.
